Marisa and Tyler met the old-fashioned way- at a bar in 2016. Even though they were both seniors at the University of Delaware, their story truly began at Brother Jimmy's in White Plains. Tyler had his eyes set on Marisa, and with bold confidence, went for a kiss. After a few dates in both Westchester and Newark, DE, they made it official.

They dated for the last couple months of college and made sure to enjoy the ride with each other. The two will never forget the last night of college, when Marisa hopped on a segway and screamed the entire way into Tyler's arms. In his arms, is still and always will always be her favorite place to be.

Fast forward to 2020, during the most difficult chapter of Marisa’s life, Tyler was there. The two often refer to this year of their lives as their "twin flame" period because fate led them back to each other. His love and support guided, healed, and satisfied her soul. Their connection reignited with even greater strength, and they’ve been inseparable in their own little world ever since.

Tyler knew it was time to take the next step. On the day before New Year’s Eve, while vacationing in the sunshine state, he planned the best surprise. Disguised as one of their regular date nights, he got Marisa onto the beach and went on one knee. Overjoyed and in the midsts of numerous "oh my gods",shakes, and utter disbelief, she of course said yes. It marked the beginning of their forever.
